Description
● To show the degree of linear expansion of metal rods on a scale.
● Comprising of two vertical stands connected by two parallel link rods. The top supports an expansion bar which is fixed at one end and rests beneath a friction pointer at the other end that runs over a 0 – 90°scale.
● The expansion of the bar is greatly amplified when the pointer moves over the scale.
