● Middle scale displays the atmospheric pressure from 720 to 790 mmHg.
● Outer scale displays the atmospheric pressure from 28 to 31 x 0.1 in. of Mercury.
● Unsettled weather is generally indicated by low or sudden fall in pressure and a rising barometer or high pressure is associated with fine weather.
