Description
● Used as a standard resistance in laboratory work in schools. Resistance values are adjusted by removing the brass pegs.
● Comprises of a coils of constantan wire non-inductively wound, double silk covered with precise resistance values housed in polished wooden box with a bakelite cover. The top has split brass blocks with precision cut tapered holes to accommodate brass plugs with a fluted top with resistance values mentioned on top. The ends
are fitted with two 4mm terminals.
