Description
● Potentiometer is a device used to measure the internal resistance of a cell, to compare the e.m.f. of two cells and potential difference across a resistor.
● Comprises of a constantan wire stretched a across a meter scale, sub-divided into millimeters and centimeters and mounted on polished hardwood base board. The ends of the wires are well clamped to a stout brass-plated end plates.
● The terminating strips are provided with 4mm sockets.
● Supplied with a jockey.
