Description
● A process of generating current in a conductor by placing the conductor in a changing magnetic field is called induction or Induced current.
● Comprises of a primary coil of thicker copper wire with lesser turns wound upon an insulated cylinder with terminals, a secondary coil of thinner wire and more turns wound upon a cylinder into which the primary coil fits. A soft iron core fits the cylinder of the primary coil.
