Description
● Demonstrates the conversion of electric energy to mechanical energy.
● Comprises of toothed wheel mounted on a U-arm, supported on a vertical pillar, is freely rotatable vertically. The tip of the toothed wheel is so adjusted to just dip into a mercury trough that lies between 2 arms of a horseshoe magnet.
● The toothed wheel is connected to one terminal through the vertical pillar and the other terminal is connected to the mercury trough.
● Upon passing a DC current the wheel begins to rotate.
● Operates on 4 – 6V battery.
● Supplied without battery and mercury.
