Description
● An electrical device that is used in many applications that require changing the current or resistance in an electric circuit.
● Comprises of heavily oxidised resistance wire wound on a porcelain tube of 43mm supported at either ends on plastic legs. A heavy duty slider with multi-leaf contact slides over a bar with a 4mm terminal at one end. Two 4mm terminals are fitted on either ends of the wound resistance coil.
● Designed for continuous use with good heat dissipation.
● Total resistance (Ω) and current capacity are marked on each rheostat.
