Description
● It consists of a magnetised needle, which rotates freely and indicates north south direction when it comes to rest.
● Comprises of bakelite/plastic box with a glass cover approx. 100mm diameter with a circular graduated scale of 4 quadrants each reading 0 – 90°. A magnetic needle is mounted on a hardened steel pivot allowing free movement of the magnetic needle over the scale. A mirror at the base removes the parallax.
