Description
● Demonstrates that the propagation of sound is mediated by the air and that in the absence of the air medium, the sound waves cannot travel.
● Comprises of an electric bell suspended inside a bell jar by leads passing through a rubber stopper that seals the bell jar. The leads terminate in a 4mm socket over the rubber stopper.
● To be used with a vacuum pump plate for creating a vacuum in the bell jar. (Not supplied).
