Description
● Centrifugal Force is a force that causes an object moving in a circular path to move out and away from the center of its path.
● Comprises of a hand operated bevel gear mechanism to drive a vertical shaft at a speed fixed to a metal base.
● The force can be best exemplified by the 3 attachements provided.
a. A shaft with 2 swing-out buckets.
b. 2 elastic steel strips attached to a metal rod, the top end being firmly fixed and the lower end can slide on the rod.
c. 2 balls freely movable across a rod fixed to a C-bent metal strip. This attachment is firmly fixed to a vertical rod.
● Upon rotating the hand crank at a speed results in a force that pushes the objects outwards.
